![]() Aside from adding Schaller straplocks, everything else is stock – the smooth chrome covers, the wraparound bridge with integrated saddles, the Gotoh tuners. I had swapped the knobs when these photos were taken, but I’ve since reverted to the large Telecaster Deluxe-style witch-hat knobs that came with it. ![]() I’ve only seen a few since, and later models had a pearloid pickguard instead of a flat white. The seller said the finish was a factory custom color, but a full-page magazine ad leads me to believe "Shining Green” (which I’ve seen other owners nickname “Gumby Green” for obvious reasons) was a standard finish. The dings and cuts were already there when I bought it on eBay in 2008. This is on the early side of the production run, as it still has the script logo on the headstock I believe it’s MIJ around 1995, but I’ve never been able to determine the exact year – there is no serial number anywhere on the outside.
